$8,000 |
| Color possibilities: Chestnut, Bay, and Black |
|
| Laroche’s dam is the Keur Preferent Prestatie mare Bernadette, by the legendary Nimmerdor. He too was an international showjumper of great quality. He sired 18 approved sons, including Ahorn, Goodtimes, and Heartbreaker. Laroche is a well-regarded stallion in Europe and has already produced a number of exceptional offspring including six Ster mares, two Keur mares, and one licensed stallion. His offspring have proven very successful as showjumpers and his European-based offspring have earned him a KWPN jumping index of 149, which ranks him 8th of all KWPN stallions with offspring aged 10 or older. Laroche offers a kind and respectful character and is an easy stallion to live with on a daily basis. He has good bone with well-developed feet, a kind eye, and a strong hindquarter with a particularly good canter. Laroche is an excellent choice for breeders looking to improve jumping ability. Melesta is a wonderful imported Dutch mare that competed in jumpers and eventing. She was doing very well in eventing when an old injury she had sustained as a foal flared up and she was then retired as a broodmare in order to preserve her fabulous bloodlines, work ethic and versatility. She has simply beautiful elastic gaits and has produced both dressgae and jumper offspring with the only two sons she has had to date, being kept currently as stallion prospects. Please see Mare Page for Melesta's information. This pairing should result in a hunter/jumper, eventer or dressage prospect. Foal will be presented to KWPN-NA. Foaled a beautiful, big, correct black/bay filly, $10,000 |
| Rousseau x Kroniek U |

| Rousseau's early successes included outstanding remarks at his Stallion Performance Testing in Ermelo, where he earned an overall '8' for his dressage ability. Under Nicolette van Lierop, Rousseau became the Dutch National Champion as a 4-year old and Reserve Champion as a 5-year old through consistent performances at the PAVO-Cup. He earned perfect scores of '10' from guest riders Lisa Wilcox and Stefan van Ingelgem. He won the 2003 KWPN Stallion Show as a 5-year old, maintaining a very strong lead over his peers through the series of competitions leading up to the Divoza Cup final. He represented the Netherlands at the 2003 FEI World Championships for Young Horses in Verden, Germany, capturing the Silver Medal and heralding the world's attention as top dressage stallion. Rousseau's remarkable success is exemplified by the fact that out of his first four foal crops in the Netherlands, Rousseau produced three consecutive Champions of the KWPN Stallion Licensing: Wamberto (2006), Zagreb (aka Blue Hors Zack) (2007), and Ajong (aka Ampere) (2008). From his first foal crops in Germany, Rousseau has four licensed sons: Fiorano named to the Premium Ring of the 2008 VhW licensing, Fuerst Rousseau now standing at Celle, a Rousseau-Lauries Crusader licensed in the late 2008 Hanoverian korung and Rousseau Noir, licensed by the GOV. Three of Rousseau's sons won their stallion performance tests with record-breaking results, Wamberto, Fiorano, and Ampere! Kroniek U has had a wonderful dressage career and competed very successfully through 4th Level Dressage for her owner/rider Cynthia Matterson. Kroniek is a wonderful, fantastic moving imported Dutch mare that has earned her Sports Predicate. Her first foal in U.S. by Contango is being considered as a stallion prospect by his owners and is a 3/4 by blood sibling to the great Ravel! | Riverman x Brooklyn |
$8,000 |
| Color possibilities: Chestnut, Bay; 50% chance of turning gray |
|
| Riverman was the Reserve Champion of his Holsteiner stallion licensing, where he was titled the “Top Model” of the approvals. Riverman stood as a Verband stallion for three years, producing high percentages of premium offspring. After these foal crops, Riverman stood 2nd in the 2000 German FN's Jumping Index and 3rd in the Overall Index for stallions of his age group, due to the success of his offspring in both dressage and jumping competition. Riverman won the 1995 Grand Championship at Dressage at Devon. His clearly suspended and elevated movement showed tremendous fluidity and suppleness. continued his training through the Grand Prix level. His powerful gaits, generated from an active hind leg, made the work easy for this talented stallion and piaffe and passage were particular favorites in his training. Riverman's pedigree offers access to many of the top bloodlines successful in international sport. His sire Redfort was a successful Grand Prix dressage horse, but descends from lines best known for their show jumping talent. Please see Mare Page for Brooklyn's information. Wow, the combination of bloodlines here should produce not only a fabulous jumper but elasticity of gaits is a given. In-Utero is available. This pairing should result in a hunter/jumper, eventer or dressage prospect. Brooklyn has an "in your pocket" temperament and was very easy to start under saddle. The pairing of Kevekko and Argus (damsire) is ingenius for reproducing the amazing versatility those stallions possessed. We hope the above pairing with the versatile stallion Riverman will yet cement these traits even more and if a colt is an outcome, possibly an up in coming stallion prospect would be the result! This will be Brooklyn's first foal. Foal will be presented to KWPN-NA. Planned breeding for spring 2012 to Hanoverian stallion, Scimitar. Fabulous dressage stallion (that competed through 4th level) who also posseses an amazing jump, fantastic temperament and rideability which he passes onto his offspring. He currently has produced many dressage and hunter/jumpers winning at the upper levels of their sport. We expect this pairing to increase size and substance and double up on elastic gaits, sweet temperament and magnificent jump talent. In-utero is available for 2013 foal.Resulting foal to be taken KWPN-NA. |

Redwine is a modern, elegant black Hanoverian stallion possessing sheer beauty and presence of a class rarely seen. He completed the 30 day and 70 day testing in Germany and was awarded admirable scores in all areas, most notably rare 10's for character, constitution and rideability. His striking appearance is accentuated by his lovely hunter movement and impressive style over fences. Due to his popularity with mare owners, Redwine has had little time for competing, but most recently he has been showing with great success in the hunter ring with Peter Pletcher. Redwine has quickly established himself as a consistent producer of incredibly beautiful, correct foals with a significant trademark of stunning heads, long, shapely necks, and gorgeous toplines. His foals also share his noble charm and quality of disposition. This marked prepotency has enabled him to reliably improve on mares of virtually any type. His foals have been well-received at inspections across the country, with a large number being awarded site champion designations. In only two years of breeding he has produced some of the highest scoring foals in the country! Along with incredible good looks and temperament, Redwine foals are stamped with elastic, cadenced movement of hunter type. They are proving to be desirable candidates for the hunter breeding ring while awaiting debut in their under saddle careers. In 2010, Redwine shared the Leading Sire Award at the Sallie B. Wheeler/USEF National Hunter Breeding Championship in Warrenton, Virginia. Please see Mare Page for more information on NF Amayzing.
