About Us...
We are a small breeder of quality sport horses located in Calvert, Maryland. Our focus is to breed for usability and temperament. Whether you are looking for a dressage, hunter/jumper or event prospect (some maybe with a splash of color), we probably have just what you need.
 

Marie has over 30 years of involvement with horses, and has shown, trained, and bred horses for many years. She has a B.S. degree in Animal Science and an Associate degree in agriculture from the University of Delaware. Marie is also a certified Farrier specializing in working with horses with laminitis, navicular and other debilitating conditions.
Jay grew up on a farm raising beef cattle, and also enjoyed owning and riding horses. He handles the construction and maintenance of the farm facilities and recently begun riding again.

Between the both of them they have 6 children. Some are more involved than others, but all contribute to making LazyJ a farm they all can be proud of.
